  • To intercede (pray and fast) for nations

As GLOBAL MANDATE team, we believe that prayer is the most fundamental aspect global missions and salvation for Nations. According to Psalms 2:8 “Ask of Me, and I will give you the nations for your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for your possession”, and Jeremiah 29:7 – “Seek the peace of the city/nation, pray for it, for in its peace you will have peace.”; Our God commanded us to pray for Nations and cities. God calls His people to stand in the gap through prayer and fasting for nations as recorded in Ezekiel 22:30 – “So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land…”.  Intercession and praying for Nations is an act of love and obedience, asking God to show mercy, bring healing, and turn people back to Him. Nations are healed and restored when God’s people humble themselves in prayer and fasting as recorded 2 Chronicles 7:14 – “…if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” Interceding for Nations is all about representing a nation before God, asking for mercy, salvation and restoration. Daniel (9:3, 17–19) fasted and prayed for Israel’s forgiveness and restoration, while prophet Isaiah (Isaiah 58:6–12) tell us that praying (with fasting) loses bonds of wickedness and brings justice to nations. Similarly, the bible (1 Timothy 2:1–3) commands us to pray for all men, kings and all who are in authority. Prayer is good and pleases God because He wants all men to be saved and to come to the very knowledge of truth.  WILL YOU PRAY AND INTERCEDE FOR NATIONS? Joins Us in prayers

  • Support Missions Financially and Materially

From the bible perspective, as the Global Mandate team, we are cognizant and aware that, supporting gospel missions with finances and material resources is both a responsibility and a privilege for all believers. God’s work requires laborers, and those laborers need to be sustained. From the old testament through the new testament, scripture emphasizes generosity toward those who serve in ministry and toward the spread of God’s kingdom. Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself affirmed that “the laborer is worthy of his wages”, showing that those who dedicate themselves to the gospel should be supported. According to Apostle Paul, ministers of the gospel have the right to live from the gospel, and he thanked the Philippians for their generous partnership in his missionary work. Giving to missions is not just about meeting need but it is sowing into eternal harvests, storing treasures in heaven, and showing love in action. We are reminding the body of Christ that all Believers are called to give cheerfully and willingly, knowing that God blesses generosity. Supporting missions includes providing finances, material goods, hospitality, and practical help for those carrying the gospel to the world. “When we give, we participate in God’s global mission and share in the fruit of the work” David K Lubega. Some of the Scripture references include; Matthew 10:40–42, Luke 10:7, John 4:36–38, Acts 4:34–35, Romans 10:14–15, 1 Corinthians 9:7–14, 2 Corinthians 8:1–7, 2 Corinthians 9:6–8, Philippians 4:15–19, and 3 John 1:5–8 among others.

  • Go for Missions and Plant Churches

The Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20 makes it clear that going for gospel missions and planting churches is central to God’s plan. Jesus commanded His disciples to “go…make disciples of all the nations,” showing that missions are not optional but a mandate. The gospel is meant to reach every tribe, tongue, and nation, and church planting is the biblical way to establish and grow discipleship in those places.

The early church in the book of Acts, actively went for missions while preaching Christ, baptizing believers, and forming new communities of faith. The apostles especially (Paul) traveled widely while, preaching the gospel and planting churches in cities across the entire Roman Empire. These churches became centers for worship, teaching, and further mission.

Church planting is not just about buildings but about creating spiritual families where believers grow, leaders are raised, and God’s kingdom expands. The Bible emphatically teaches us that the Holy Spirit empowers missions’ work. and Christ Himself builds His church.

Everyone us (believers), has been called to go, send, and support so that the gospel spreads to unreached people and healthy churches are established for God’s glory. Some of the scripture references include; Matthew 28:18–20, Mark 16:15, Luke 24:47–49, John 20:21, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:41–42, Acts 13:1–3, Acts 14:21–23, Romans 15:20, 1 Corinthians 3:6–7, and Titus 1:5 among others

WILL YOU GO FOR JESUS? WILL PLANT A CHURCH?  Joins to go!

  • Campuses universities & College Outreach / Mobilizations

The Great Commission (Matthew 28:18–20) is a call for every believer, including students and young leaders on campuses, universities, and colleges. These centers of learning are strategic mission fields where the next generation of leaders, professionals, and influencers are being shaped. Mobilizing students for missions means challenging them to see their studies, careers, and relationships as tools for advancing God’s kingdom, but all also to help identify their God given gifts, talents and calling. Mobilization/ outreach re-awakens the young people to realize and identify into the five- fold ministry (Apostle, prophets, Evangelist, pastors and teachers). If Jesus tarries, the young people of today are the great ministers for tomorrow.

The Bible shows that God often uses young people in His mission. David, Daniel, Esther, Jeremiah, Timothy, and others were called while young to influence nations. Paul urged Timothy, a young leader, not to let anyone despise his youth but to be an example in faith. Students can live out the Great Commission by sharing the gospel with peers, starting prayer and Bible study groups, serving in local churches, and preparing to go into the nations as missionaries, professionals, or church planters.

As an individual, you can fulfill the Great Commission by praying for missions, supporting gospel workers, and actively witnessing where God has placed you. On campus, you can disciple others, organize outreach events, or even respond personally to God’s call to “go.” The key is availability and obedience, trusting that the Holy Spirit empowers you. Some of the scripture references include; Matthew 28:18–20, Mark 16:15, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:17, Jeremiah 1: 5 Daniel 1:4, 17, Esther 4:14, 1 Timothy 4:12, and 2 Timothy 2:2 among others.

The Global Mandate team is deliberately mobilizing students and young people for the for the great commission.

  • Church Outreach / Mobilizations

“it takes a church to raise a village” Gerald Mwebe.

The Great Commission (Matthew 28:18–20) calls the Church to go beyond its walls and reach nations with the gospel. Mobilization and sensitization of local church are vital because the church is God’s primary vehicle for missions. Every congregation must be awakened to see that missions are not for a few but for the whole body of Christ.

The Bible shows that the early church was both local and global in its vision. The church in Antioch prayed, fasted, and sent Paul and Barnabas on mission (Acts 13:1–3). Churches supported missionaries through prayer, finances, and encouragement (Philippians 4:15–16; 3 John 1:5–8). Leaders were tasked with equipping believers for the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:11–12), which includes evangelism and church planting. Mobilizing local churches means teaching, training, and challenging members to pray, give, and go both nationally and internationally.

As the Global Mandate team, we believe that every believer has a role, and when local churches are mobilized, nations can be reached, and people are saved unto the Lord.  The local church should therefore awaken its congregation to fulfilling the Great Commission by

  • Praying for missionaries and unreached nations (Colossians 4:3).
  • Supporting missions financially and materially (2 Corinthians 9:7–8).
  • Sharing the gospel in your community (Mark 16:15).
  • Being available if God calls you to go cross-culturally (Isaiah 6:8).

Some of the scripture references include; Matthew 28:18–20, Mark 16:15, Acts 1:8, Acts 13:1–3, Romans 10:14–15, Ephesians 4:11–12, Philippians 4:15–16, 2 Corinthians 9:7–8, 3 John 1:5–8, and Isaiah 6:8 among others

WILL YOU MOBILIZE THE MEMBERS OF YOUR CHURCH TO RESPOND TO THE GREAT COMMISSION??

  • Be involved in the Annual Global Mandate missions & Church Planting conference

The Great Commission (Matthew 28:18–20) commands believers to make disciples of all nations, and one way to stay aligned with this mandate is by actively participating in missions and church planting conferences. The annual Global Mandate conference is not just events but rather a platform for mobilization of believers, equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, inspiration of believers and impartation of spiritual gifts. The Bible emphasizes the importance of equipping the saints for the work of ministry The Global Mandate Conference provides teaching, training, and strategies that strengthen believers to engage in missions effectively.

The conference also serves as places of prayer and commissioning of believers for the great commission, similar to how the church in Antioch fasted, prayed, and sent Paul and Barnabas. By attending, believers are reminded of God’s global vision and challenged to move beyond comfort zones into active obedience.

The Global Mandate Conference also creates opportunities for partnership and fellowship. Paul often spoke of his need for partners in the gospel, and gatherings like this build networks that help advance the kingdom nationally and internationally. Most importantly, they reignite passion for souls and highlight the urgency of church planting as God’s method of establishing discipleship communities everywhere. Some of the scripture references include: Matthew 28:18–20, Mark 16:15, Acts 1:8, Acts 13:1–3, Romans 10:14–15, 1 Corinthians 3:6–7, Ephesians 4:11–12, Philippians 1:5, 2 Timothy 2:2, Hebrews 10:24–25.

Since 2011 the annual Global Mandate conference take place on the 9th October.  It a gathering that brings thousands of people together to be equipped for the work of the great commission.
